Wolfsbane

The third novel from Craig Thomas, and a slight depature from his previous book, Firefox, that made him a best-seller. Gone from here is the techno stuff we saw in the latter half of Firefox, but Thomas more than makes up for it with an expertly crafted spy story. Opening the book in 1944, British agent Richard Gardiner is betrayed by an unknown sorce and captured by the Nazi’s on a mission in France. After making an escape he vows revenge against his unknown betrayer. Years later, in 1963, Gardiner is vacationing in France with his family. Through a chance encounter with someone from his past, Gardiner takes up his plan for vengance and will not stop until he’s finished, becoming a killing machine in the process.
